18 December 1996	Acquired Oscar as a gift from Cesar & Stacia. Length 251mm (9 7/8").
2 April 1997	Length 265mm (10.43"). This is assumed to be his maximum growth, as there is evidence that he had dropped portions of his tail at least twice.
June 2001	Oscar died, age estimated at 5 years, 4 months.
