Upon the Earth I lay my head in grief
The pain that's thrust on her runs through me
Her agony becomes my disbelief
Why can't the lords of hate just let her be

Her foliage lays in a snarly ball
As we enhance the blood beneath our shoes
She screams in sorrow; the sight of it all
If we do not change, her love we will lose

Life is in ruins; her body stands weak
She does not know what to do or to think
She tries not to cry, she holds back a shriek
As life is ending, her hopes start to sink

Her vitality gone, she weeps in peace
When the people are gone, the was will cease
