Many, many years ago
In a kingdom by the sea
Lived a maiden fair
Mystica Rose
And her beloved knight
Sir Christopher Lee

Oh, how in love they were
They held each others hearts
Betrothed to one another
They vowed to never part

Days spent walking in the sand
Sea breeze caressed their skin
Hand in hand they walked
Along the shore
Two happier people there has
Never been

Nights spent making love
Beneath the silvery stars
With passion so pure
Embracing, their bodies entwined
Into the early morning hours

Then one summer's day
Bad news arrived
In this kingdom by the sea
War had broken out
And they sent for the knight
Sir Christopher Lee

They spent their last day together
Making love 'til night time fell
And then the time had come for them to part
Sorrow befell their hearts

He kissed her as they shared
A last embrace
He promised to return to her
As he wiped the tears from
Mystica Rose's face

Sir Christopher Lee
Rode off to war
Mystica Rose did weep
As she walked sad
And lonely back to
Her castle keep

Many long day did pass
In this kingdom by the sea
As Mystica Rose awaited the return
Of her beloved Christopher Lee

Then one day a messenger arrived
In this kingdom by the sea
Looking for Mystica Rose
To give her news
Of her beloved knight
Sir Christopher Lee

Darkness fell upon her heart that day
In this kingdom by the sea
For death had stole from her
Her beloved Christopher Lee

The castle stands today
In this kingdom by the sea
And if you go there
They say that you may see
Mystica Rose still waiting there
For the safe return of her beloved knight
Sir Christopher Lee
