dainty paws,
ripping claws,
smiling jaws,
all the cat knows.
cocked ears,
always appears
to never have fears
the cat’s confidence grows
rules the place,
fuzzy face,
silky grace,
is what the cat shows.
whipping tails,
never fails,
the scented trails,
where the cat goes.
climbing trees,
when it please,
with apparent ease,
with clawed cat toes.
hairy head,
paws that tread,
to my bed
that’s where the cat goes.
