Babel	A Class D planetoid in sector 000 in Federation space. It contains a subsurface facility that is often used for Federation Conferences, due to it nature as a neutral site. It is the only star system that is "owned" by the Federation rather than one or more of the member worlds. The first Babel Conference was held in 2370. Representatives of eleven species were present, six of them merely in an advisory or observational capacity, as the representatives from Earth, Andor, Centaur II, Tellar Prime, and Vulcan signed the Articles of the Federation.
Bagua 5-S4	A Class M planet, the fourth moon of a gas giant orbiting close to its star. Member of the United Federation of Planets. Homeworld of the Fozae.
Bill Johnson	3/4 Human, 1/4 Tarl Hybird male. Command Division Officer assigned to the Shuttlebay Control Tower aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise.
Blanloch-Z'Bluk Syndrome	A mental condition that occurs in a small percentage of children of several species when they are exposed to extensive use of universal translators at a young age. It results in their ability to pick up new languages with only a few hours to days of exposure, and full fluency within weeks. It can also, however, result in a more extreme form where the person begins having a difficult time speaking in a single language, and can even render one unable to communicate at all. Named for Doctor Michael Blanloch (Human/Male) and Vulcan Science Academy Professor T'Pia Z'Bluk (Vulcan/Female), each of whom had a daughter with the syndrome.
